What if we called it collective intelligence instead of artificial intelligence?

At the Sana AI Summit, Sari Azout (founder of Sublime) offered a reframe that's stayed with me: these systems aren't "artificial", they're built on aggregating and connecting our shared human knowledge. Skills may get automated, but imagination, curiosity, and judgment remain ours.

A pattern I've been noticing:
In Sublime when you tap the ✨ on a saved idea, instead of generating one long response, it offers multiple small perspectives: the gist, explain like I'm 5, contrarian take, analogy, hot take.
It presents options rather than verdicts. It feels like expanding my thinking, not replacing it.

The question I'm sitting with: If we're building collective intelligence systems, how do we create interfaces that enhance human agency rather than diminish it?
